El Mirasol at Los Arboles
The hosts of El Mirasol at Los Arboles, Felipe and Lisbet Castaneda, had a dream, a dream to share their family's Mexican heritage and their love of natural foods with the community. They sought ways to honor generations of the family through their beloved family recipes and dedication to quality.
In 1985, they made that dream a reality when they opened the original El Mirasol Cocina Mexicana Restaurant in Palm Springs.
More than four decades later, both still eagerly embrace each new day excited to share the boundless choices, compelling flavors, innovative margaritas and unmatched personal service with guests from around the world.
That original restaurant was built on the foundation of generations of family gathering around the table for homemade meals and conversation. Then as today, we have a dedication to quality, freshness and value above all else. So when Los Arboles Hotel was in the planning stages and a food destination was a natural choice for the project, we chose to grow and build upon our past success and we opened
a second location of our iconic restaurant.
El Mirasol at Los Arboles features a menu true to the original, but with the added enjoyment of spectacular mountain views, garden settings and an intimate style. Every outdoor table is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, fruit trees, herb gardens, boundless sun filled days, infinite starry nights and of course, simply the leading choices in Mexican cuisine in the valley.
We understand many have been eagerly awaiting our re-opening and sincerely appreciate your patience with us as we prepare an elevated dining experience for our guests and visitors to enjoy. We'll be posting updates here, on the El Mirasol website, and on our social media pages.
